LC Valley Kids Play Dates
“Building Community, One Playdate at a Time”
-
Did you know?
Six years ago, Melinda Carneal and Heather Moore started “LC Valley Kids Play Dates” which meets Monday to Friday, from 10 - 12 noon year around. The only requirement is that a parent, grandparent, guardian, etc., stay and take part with the child(ren).
Play dates include playing in the park, doing art projects, learning from science experiments, field trips, going bowling and celebrate parties for each child and parent (birthday, holidays, baby showers with a gift, etc.) During the winter months, they meet at our church downstairs which provides a great place for children to play.

“LC Valley Kids Play Dates” strongly support and promote the church’s yearly Vacation Bible Schools, and Beacon Christian School. Not only is this a tremendous blessing for the kids and parents in our community, but they are witnessing many positive changes in the lives of those who come. Life-long friendships are being formed.
There is NO charge. Food/snacks/drinks are provided at every session.
If there is any fees or cost for the play date’s activity (field trip or bowling, etc.) and a family can’t afford it, there is a form they can complete and the cost is covered by this non-profit organization.

Testimonials
“This group helped get me out of a deep depression…I came to a park one day and the group happened to be there at the same time. My 3-year-old daughter immediately started playing with the kids and Melinda approached me and told me about the group. I started coming and I met some lovely parents who were also in the same boat with young kids. I get to talk with adults and have my daughter socialize with kids her age. Truly blessed to have found this group.”

Testimonials
“We have all gotten to be friends and are always welcoming new members with open arms. It has been so heartwarming to watch these children from infants to grade school grow and become such good friends with each other…This group also has given each of us a sense of community and friendship that is so rare to see these days. Melinda and Heather have done an amazing job of keeping this group active and loving for all the children and adults.”
